India ISO, BIS & Product Compliance Services

India-wide ISO management-system consultancy, BIS/product compliance and export product-compliance support.

India-wide management-system and product-compliance support

This hub separates two different types of work that are often incorrectly sold under one “certificate” label. ISO management-system projects concern how an organisation builds and operates a management system before an independent certification body audits it. BIS and CE-marking projects concern product legislation, standards, testing, manufacturer responsibility and the applicable conformity-assessment route.

MLR & COMPANY provides consultancy, documentation/readiness and coordination according to the assignment. It does not represent ISO as a certifier, does not issue BIS licences and does not treat CE marking as a generic third-party certificate.

How we avoid compliance misinformation

Product pages are built around the exact product, standard, QCO or destination-market law. Management-system pages identify the correct standard edition and keep consultancy separate from independent certification. Time-sensitive standards and portal procedures are placed on a review cycle so a page can be updated when an official source changes.

Discuss an India requirement

For ISO, share the standard, organisation, sites and intended certification scope. For products, share the product/model, manufacturing country, target market and any standard/QCO already identified.

Choose the compliance route before buying tests or certificates

The most expensive mistakes in product and ISO work often happen before the formal application or audit: the wrong standard is selected, the certification scope is too broad or too narrow, testing is commissioned under an inapplicable specification, or a business assumes that a third-party document is equivalent to the regulator’s required route. The India hub is designed to prevent that by making route identification the first stage.

For ISO projects, the starting questions are organisation, sites, processes, standard edition and certification objective. For BIS/product work, they are product, model/range, manufacturing site, Indian Standard, QCO and scheme. For CE marking, the destination legislation and manufacturer responsibility come first.

Evidence and readiness matter

A management system needs implemented processes and records, not only manuals. Product compliance needs technical evidence, testing and factory/manufacturer controls appropriate to the legal scheme. The website therefore separates “documents normally reviewed” from “evidence that the system or product actually complies”. This distinction helps clients and independent assessors understand what evidence is still required.

When an external laboratory, certification body, notified body or competent authority is required, its role is described separately so the user can understand which decision MLR & COMPANY can support and which decision remains independent.

From first enquiry to a technically useful scope

A useful first discussion should end with a clear statement of what is being assessed: the management-system scope or product/market-access route, the organisations or factories involved, the authority or independent assessor, the evidence still missing and the next decision point. That makes a later proposal easier to compare and reduces the risk of buying unrelated tests, documents or certificates.
